Hi, I’m TJ Williams — founder of RoofsByTJ. Before I ever picked up a shingle, I spent years on the other side of the storm. I started my career as a licensed independent insurance adjuster, working catastrophe claims across the country. I later transitioned into a licensed and bonded public adjuster, where I fought on behalf of homeowners to get them the fair insurance payouts they deserved.
Now, as a contractor, I bring all of that experience directly to you.
At RoofsByTJ, I’m not just another roofer knocking at your door. I’m the guy who used to show up when you filed a claim, and the one who legally went head-to-head with insurance companies when they tried to underpay. That means I understand the ins and outs of the claims process better than most — and I use that knowledge to make sure you get every dollar you’re entitled to.
This work is personal to me. I’ve seen firsthand how confusing and frustrating the insurance process can be for homeowners. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to not just replace roofs — but to advocate for people, protect their homes, and help them navigate their claims with confidence.
